PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: Demolition of existing buildings and structures and development of the site for up to 177 dwellings, plus community hub (use class E/F2), associated parking and landscaping, sustainable drainage (SUDs) features and play areas. 85/22.23.       Financial Matters: –

  • Accounts for payment – November 2022
  • Monthly Budget monitoring report to be approved.
  • Grant Requests using the General Power of Competence: –

·         Sir Richard Cox’s Charity – £2,000 given in 2021

·         St Martin’s Church – Grant to purchase heater £130

·         SUJC – Grant towards outdoor Chanukah lighting

·         SPT – Christmas event – £150 towards selection boxes to be distributed to Children

  • To NOTE the National Salary Award, Pay Scale Increase (Spinal Column Point 27 – prior to 2019 this was known at Spinal Column Point 33) (starting 1st April 2022 as per NALC advice)
  • To purchase thank you gifts for Mr. Nakrani (website), Mr. Beaton (SVM) and Mr. Leboff (accounts) for all their help with the Parish Council throughout the year. (£50 voucher given to each in 2020 & 2021)
  • To purchase 24 x In Orchard vouchers for the ACS group and Groundwork team as a thank you for their hard work (£15 ‘Café In The Orchard’ voucher given to each in 2020 & 21)
  • Gift for Mrs Gough
  • To approve the 2023/2024 budget
  • To approve the precept
  • To make a recommendation to Hertsmere Borough Council for the Shenley Parish Council precept for 2023/2024
