Parish Meeting – Tue 8 December 2020
The Parish Council meets on the first Tuesday of each month (except August), at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. The public is welcome to attend. There is a short session at the beginning of each meeting when members of the public may ask questions or raise issues of concern.
All members of the Public and Press are welcomed to attend.
If you wish to speak on any matter on the agenda, or anything that affects the Parish of Shenley,

68/20.21. Apologies for absence.
a) To receive declarations of interest from councillors on items on the agenda
b) To receive written requests for dispensations for declarable interests; and
c) To grant any requests for dispensation as appropriate

Members of the public and Councillors can raise matters pertinent to the Extraordinary
Parish Council meeting: –
71/20.21. To discuss the possibility of seeking Legal counsel’s opinion as to the merits of seeking a
judicial review around Hertsmere Borough Council’s decision regarding planning application
20/1450/FUL – Land at Pinks Cottage, Rectory Lane, Shenley, Hertfordshire, WD7 9AW. "Demolition
of existing buildings and erection of replacement 2 storey, detached, 5-bedroom dwelling to include
landscaping, access and installation of rear outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, double garage, log
store and storage shed."
72/20.21 To approve the initial cost of obtaining counsel’s opinion and to NOTE possible further
action subject to counsel’s advice.
