SHENLEY PARK

As we enter September so do we enter our most important and busy period here at Shenley Park – apples! We will making apple juice - available by the glass or bottle from The Orchard tea room- last season’s juice ran out at the beginning of May it was so popular! Do you think you have what it takes to be an apple juice producer? We would ask for you to be able to commit to at least 4 days preferably throughout the Sept – Nov period – you would be paid in apple juice! Please contact Liz if you are interested or would like more information.

We are also preparing for Apple Day on Sunday October 19th in the Walled Garden. Last year’s Apple Day saw gorgeous weather and 3000 visitors, a wonderful day enjoyed by all so please join us this year. Would you like a stall to promote your group or sell your wares? As usual on Apple Day we shall have an art and photography competition so start preparing now. There will also be a cookery competition – details to follow in the October issue.
